Sarah Merritt began working in the Scots Athletic Department in 2011, where her primary responsibilities include coordinating all audio, video, and web streaming. She also assists in maintaining the Athletics website and is relied upon to be a site manager at sporting events. Merritt designs and manages all of the graphics for the video boards at both Art Smith Arena and Bahlke Field.

A four-year soccer player for the Scots, she appeared in 73 matches contributing mainly as an outside midfielder. Her efforts helped the team progress from a sixth place finish her freshman year to earning Alma’s first ever Conference Championship in her senior season, in which the team was undefeated in conference play.

Sarah graduated from Alma College with a degree in business administration, minoring in Spanish. Upon graduating from Alma College in 2011, Sarah was hired into the athletic department as the Assistant Sports Information Director, a position she continues to hold. Sarah is a graduate of Lake Orion High School and also serves as an assistant women's soccer coach at Alma.
