Scotland Yard, the home to the Alma College men's and women's soccer programs, is located just northwest of campus off of Charles Road. The facility is located next to Klenk Park, the school's baseball field.
The complex was built with donations from alumni, friends and family of the men’s and women’s soccer programs. The facility provides the College with a regulation-size soccer field: 115 yards long by 75 yards wide.
Scotland Yard was dedicated on Sunday, September 8, 2002, in a ribbon-cutting ceremony between games of the Scotland Yard Classic. Before the start of the 2013 campaign, a brand new state of the art scoreboard was constructed in the east end of the field, again built with the help of generous donations.
Women's Head Coach Jeff Hosler has built a program that is now a perennial MIAA contender and they have used Scotland Yard as a true home field advantage. Over the past six seasons (2008-13), the Scots have compiled a record of 44-13-3 at home and the club hosted the 2010 MIAA Championship.
The men, under the tutelage of Josh Oakley, are considered to be one the of teams to watch in the league as they have improved each season under Oakley's watch. They too are using Scotland Yard as an advantage and have recorded 11 wins over the past three years (2011-13) on home turf.
